I’m Used Car Guy. I post interesting used car ads that I find on used car sites like Craigslist, Kijiji, eBay, Cars.com and dealer listings. I’m not interested in everyday commuters. I’m looking for the odd, the rare, the low-mileage and the enthusiast cars that make you stop scrolling.
How the archive works
Every car on this site was a real ad. I write up what the car was, what the photos show and what the seller disclosed, and I record the asking price and the date I spotted it. Ads expire and cars get sold, but the record stays. That makes this site a growing archive of real asking prices for cars that rarely come up for sale.
- The Price Archive lists every car with its asking price and the date we spotted it.
- Each model has its own page, such as Ford Taurus SHO or Lincoln Town Car, with every one we’ve spotted and notes on what to check when buying one.
- Name That Car is a guess-the-car photo game you can play solo or with friends.
What the prices mean
Prices on this site are what the seller was asking, not what the car sold for. They’re in US dollars unless a post says otherwise; some cars listed on Kijiji were priced in Canadian dollars. Where an ad’s price wasn’t clear, I leave it out rather than guess.
