Ford Taurus SHO
We've spotted 3 Ford Taurus SHO listings since 2022, with asking prices from $12,500 to $14,500. Each one is archived below with its photos, mileage and what the seller disclosed.
Buying one: The first-generation SHO (1989–91) and the 1992–95 car used a Yamaha-built V6. Early cars were manual-only, and an automatic arrived for 1993 with a 3.2-litre version of the engine. The 1996–99 SHO switched to a Yamaha V8 with an automatic only. When buying, ask for timing belt and valve service records on the V6 cars, check the five-speed for worn synchros, and on the V8 cars ask whether the camshaft sprockets have been welded or replaced, a known weak point.
