A black 2014 Porsche Cayenne Diesel was listed privately in Loma Linda, California in July 2026 at $15,000 or best offer, and it was still up when we checked in late October. It has 101,000 miles, the lowest of the diesel Cayennes we have logged, and an owner who has written down both the recent repairs and the slow oil leak that comes with the car. We keep the record because honest ads on this model are not common.
What it is
The Cayenne Diesel is the second-generation Cayenne with the 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel and an 8-speed automatic, sold in the United States from 2013 to 2016. This one is black over black leather, on black-painted wheels, and the owner has had it as a daily driver for three years.

Recent maintenance listed by the seller:
- Both thermostats replaced
- Air conditioning compressor replaced
- NOx sensor and particulate matter sensor replaced
- Oil pan replaced
- Regular maintenance performed

Disclosed: a slow oil leak that has been present since the owner bought the car. They have kept driving it while watching the oil level and are selling as-is with the price set to reflect it. The photos show a clean body, a tidy black interior and a set of black wheels that may or may not be to your taste.

Why this car matters
The engine in the Cayenne Diesel is the Audi 3.0-litre V6 TDI, the same basic unit found in the Q7, the Touareg and the A6 and A7 of the same years. That is good news for an owner, because parts are shared across hundreds of thousands of cars and any shop that knows the Audi diesel knows this one. Porsche added its own tuning, an 8-speed Tiptronic and Porsche Traction Management all-wheel drive, and rated it at 240 horsepower, 406 lb-ft and 7,700 pounds of towing. The Cayenne Diesel was only sold here for four model years, and the diesel scandal buybacks made the survivors scarce. What makes this one cool is that it is the lowest-mileage diesel Cayenne we have logged, black on black on black wheels, with an owner who has already replaced the two parts that most often strand these cars. A Porsche with 101,000 miles on a diesel is barely run in.

Is $15,000 a fair ask?
The mileage is the best of this group and the recent repairs cover two of the common failures on this engine, the thermostats and the NOx sensor. What hurts the ask is the oil leak. On this V6 a slow leak is often the oil cooler or the rear main, and either is an expensive job on a Cayenne because of how much has to come apart. The seller says the price reflects it, and the OBO suggests room. Priced with a leak repair on top, it lands where the higher-mileage cars sit, which makes the ask fair rather than cheap.
A little Cayenne Diesel history
Porsche sold the Cayenne Diesel in North America for the 2013 to 2016 model years, always with the 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel borrowed from Audi. The engine was part of the 2016 diesel emissions settlement, and the survivors are mostly cars whose owners took the fix and kept them. The V8 Cayenne S Diesel sold in Europe never came here.
